SOMERSWORTH — The first phase of the long-envisioned dream of the world's first Little Indonesia district in Somersworth became a reality in 2021 with the opening of the cultural center on High Street in May.
Now, leaders of the project have their sights set on the next phase in 2022: Finding a permanent home for the Little Indonesia district, which is now housed in a leased building, to grow into something much bigger.
